About Me
I have a MA and Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling. I trained at The Minster Centre, in London, one of Europe’s leading psychotherapy training institutions. I have been working with clients since 2018, across low-cost and charity settings, as well as in private practice.
During my training I was particularly drawn to trauma informed practice, and remain particularly interested in understanding the connection and disconnection we can all have between parts of our bodies and parts of our minds. I work to understand and enquire into these parts of psyche and soma, building awareness and guiding each of them into the light so that we might shift our perspective and come to see ourselves more fully and more wholly.
I am a registered member of the BACP and hold a full clinical membership with the UKCP.
I have experience working with the following issues:
Depression
Anxiety
Anger
Trauma and dissociation
Trouble with self-care
Self-esteem and self-confidence
Impacts of a traumatic childhood
Impacts of growing up around addiction
Bereavement, Loss and Grief
Loneliness
Relationship Difficulties
Work and study related stress
